As part of my investment in my future I have purchased a backdrop and stand as well as a new lighting kit.
Although my (soon to be completed) degree is in Advertising and Marketing Communications, I’ve had a passion for photography since I got my first camera. So the opportunity to develop the skills that have been put in the cupboard is exciting.
With getting this new equipment it certainly has its cost, as a third year student who is working part-time. Every penny matters. So working to pay off this equipment is also vital.
I’m looking forward to developing my portfolio and changing the images in my photography section.
Setting up as self-employed is also a new adventure, lots of forms to research and the enjoyment of achieving something that directly benefits myself on a professional level.
Although photography is not a steady income, as with any business you get out what you put in.
